How to Walk in Heels like a pro and minimize the pain
I figure that this would be a good video. I cringe every time I see someone walking in heels like a new born calf.

THOUGHT OF THE WEEK - Towel Mentality
Jesus said, “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should was one another’s feet.”.....John 13:14
When we face trials, it’s easy to focus on only our own problems. While we wait on the Lord to answer our prayers or while we search for answers, we often become impatient and ask God when, why, or how? Instead, we could simply search for opportunities to serve and bless others. When we take on a “towel mentality” and humble ourselves, we become the hands and feet of Christ.

THOUGHT OF THE WEEK - Lay Aside Your Garments
Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God, rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself. After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded....John 13:3-5
When Jesus launched His ministry on earth, he laid aside His garments. That’s what ministry is all about. It requires you to lay aside your personal ambitions and visions of grandeur. True ministry is birthed when you are stripped down to your heart’s desire, when something inside says, “I want my life to count for God.” It is the kind of prayer that pleads, “O God, don’t let me try to impress anyone but the One to whom I give my life.” If you work in the Kingdom trying to bring souls to God, you need to be sure you’ve given yourself to the God you teach about.
Your garments are the personal agendas you have set for yourself. The Lord often uses trials to realign us with His plan. Everyone who finds real purpose will, sooner or later, go through some adversity that will cause them to let go of the temporal and cleave to the eternal. Job discusses this terrible stripping that seems to be characteristic of the call. He goes through a brief but painful period that yanks away everything that appeared to be important in his life. (see Job 19:14-20). His only shade beneath the blistering sun of adverse circumstances is the fact that he can only be stripped down to what he started with before. He can be stripped of the temporal but not of the eternal.
It is possible to lose your money, your health, your friends, and your social status. But these are mere imitations of life. It is your character, your class, and your Christianity that will survive.

THOUGHT OF THE WEEK
Everything is in a panic! Everybody wants a piece of you, there’s far too much to do, and there are never enough hours in the day to do them. Your head is cluttered with all kinds of junk, and your heart is about ready to break. So where his He when you need Him? Is He asleep?
You feel like those disciples on the Sea of Galilee when the storm came up, and the winds and the waves rocked their boat. Your cry is the same as theirs: “Somebody go get Jesus! He’s asleep in the back of the boat, and we’re about to drown out here!”
The storms of your life have all but sunk your ship. You can’t take much more. You need Jesus, your Prince of Peace. You need Him, your Father who never slumbers, never sleeps. You need the peace that comes only by the Spirit of the Living God. Ask the Lord to speak to your storm. Just say the words, “Peace, be still.” Let yourself find in Him a still and quiet place - a place where the gentle breezes of His love blow softly across your face, a place where just one touch from Him takes all your tensions away, a place where you can rest your head upon His breast, hear His holy heartbeat - and be at peace.

THOUGHT OF THE WEEK - Things We Take For Granted
Paul wrote, “Pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored.” ..2 Thessalonians 3:1 (NIV)
We have freedom to pursue our faith today because of choices people made yesterday. We have the freedom to attend church, to read the Bible, and to share our beliefs. While enjoying these privileges, some people today face rejection and death threats from their own families for following Jesus Christ. Others are persecuted, Imprisoned or killed for their faith.
Knowing all this, we should pick up our Bibles with renewed reverence. Sing with a grateful heart and pray for fellow believers in other countries who are suffering for their faith.
